La Cabane

While out for a walk on vacation, I decided to get some ice cream. That's why I chose to go to the ice cream stand. I ordered a three-scoop ice cream (two artisanal and one gourmet) plus a scoop of ice cream. Imagine my surprise when I was told there was no spoon to eat my ice cream from the tub! They offered me the back of a knife as an alternative. Since it was July, I also wanted to buy some water. My second surprise was that they didn't have any water. Then came the time to pay. The bill came to €12.80. I should point out that the price of three artisanal scoops is €8.50 and one gourmet scoop is €2.80. Because I mixed them, the woman charged me for two artisanal scoops and one gourmet scoop instead of combining them. I am very disappointed and honestly I didn't find it very businesslike of them given all the incidents I mentioned previously.

The ice cream is excellent, with a variety of truly delicious flavors. A treat for the whole family. A must-visit for a gourmet break by the sea. We'll definitely be back!

The service was unpleasant. The Italian-style ice cream advertised on the menu wasn't available, nor were the artisanal ice creams. Without warning, we were served completely bland, tasteless, mass-produced ice cream in a perfectly mass-produced cone, at €2.80 a scoop. After pointing out to the owner that the pistachio ice cream had no flavor, she replied, "That's normal, it's mass-produced, it's not as good as artisanal," and continued chatting with another employee. In short, a place to avoid.

Tested today. Disappointed. I tried four different flavors, and the ice cream scoops were tasteless. €5 for two scoops of low-quality, mass-produced ice cream. It was a disappointing treat. The sales pitch was also unclear. Given the exceptional setting, this location deserves a quality ice cream parlor with good ingredients. There's a lot of room for improvement.
