Le Tour du Monde - Bar Restaurant

Hello, I came to eat at your restaurant yesterday at lunchtime. It was very good, except for the red wine you served me, a glass of Côtes-du-Rhône. It was warm. I didn't want to bother you just about that, but overall it was very good. My company really enjoyed it, and I liked the pizza. Have a good evening.

Arriving around 9 pm without a reservation, the waiter offered us the last available table for seven inside. There was no air conditioning, as it was a very hot period, but it was bearable: many open windows let in a bit of air. We ate well: mussels marinière, fish and chips, beers, and cocktails.

This is where I started my culinary journey at Lorient/Larmor-Plage. Their fish and chips are the best in Lorient, and their mussel fries are also delicious. The staff are all lovely and friendly, and they play sports games. The IPA is great.

We had a lovely evening with friends. The welcome and service were perfect, the staff very friendly, and we enjoyed several original dishes overlooking the Lorient harbor. The prices were very reasonable. If you haven't been, you should definitely try it; it's a place we highly recommend.

Food was significantly better than expected. This is a popular marina bar, probably aimed at a young crowd, and makes no pretensions at being fancy. But the food was very good, the service friendly and helpful and the prices typical for the area. I had moules frites and they were much better than my previous moules at an upmarket restaurant at Royan, where I left 1/2 of them. So well done Le Tour du Monde, well worth visiting.
