Restaurant Le Poulpe Lorient

It's no longer the same quality and excellent meals it was a few years ago, unfortunately. A real disappointment, a real regret, since Alexandre Nagy is no longer at the helm of this restaurant, which he had transformed into a place with an incredible atmosphere and exceptional food.

Very disappointed despite calling! The restaurant is closed??? No explanation on the door.

Don't be fooled by the photos. I don't usually give bad reviews, but I have to this time. We were a small group, and most of us didn't enjoy our meal. The glances we exchanged while eating said it all. It was simply bad, from the appetizer to the main course and dessert. The service was incredibly casual; no one bothered to check if we were enjoying our meal. It's a real shame because we had high hopes for this little restaurant. The disappointment is immense. Believe me, I hate leaving bad reviews, but I absolutely have to this time because I get the feeling no one dares to say it, but everyone is thinking it. We left feeling like we'd wasted our money, nothing more, unfortunately.

Fantastic welcome! Original and generous dishes... The bread is to die for! We even left with half a loaf! Generosity is the order of the day! And humor too!! Negative point: the noise if you sit in the lower room near the stoves.

This lemon meringue pie is as beautiful as it is delicious, I highly recommend it!! A delight

The dish, at 19 euros per person, with 4 scallops, was a bit small but they were very good.

Excellent cuisine that stands out from the crowd! I particularly enjoyed the mackerel tarama 😋
